SATURDAY – Healing on the Streets
At Big Bridge you can receive healing from the healing team through prayer. This team is made up of people from different churches. They have a back-up team based at Christ Church who are interceding on behalf of all those asking for prayer, and uplifting the prayer team before God that the prayers be answered and wholeness restored.
If you would like more information about being part of this work then send an enquiry form asking about the work of Healing on the Streets.
If you want to read more about prayer this link may be some help.
QUIET PLACES – This is coordinated by Margaret Bolt, (Elder in Charge of Prayer). If you know of any other places then please let us know via the contact form.
Other than all the local churches there are some particular quiet places where it is possible to go for prayer – and include:
Groombridge
Burrswood Christian Centre for Healing – provides convalescent and respite care, has beautiful grounds for contemplation plus a cafe and bookshop. Chapel open for regular healing services. A place of quiet which offers physical and spiritual healing

Hildenborough
House of Prayer – run by Beauty from Ashes and based in Hildenborough. Jennifer Rees Larcombe opens her home.
This is by appointment 01732 851146 and offers prayer (including Bethel Sozo) and counselling. All of this is designed to help you move closer to God ‘and find new freedom to be the people He designed them to be’.
And where Tuesdays are special – As well as the usual appointments it is possible to extend your stay to include a walk or picnic in the gardens, join in a Midday worship session and ‘feel the house is your home for the day’.
For those unable to visit the house it is possible to have prayer by email or phone. Prayer requests are sent on to ‘Prayer Shouters’ who have a real gift for praying for others, and especially for those who are going through the same things that some of them have been through. Or contact us if you feel led to be a ‘Prayer Shouter’.
