Harvest for the Homeless – Sunday 25th September 10am

A chance to be thankful at this year’s Harvest Service.  As well as the sermon by Jim there will be a talk for the children and young people by Mike from Children’s workshop. Who can forget the great banana trick he did at Christmas. Where did it go?

As part of our offering this year everyone is invited to bring along some very needed items for the homeless. This includes hats, scarves and gloves, sleeping bags and blankets which all need to be clean and in good condition. There is a need for food in ring pull cans or packets of cup a soup, and for dog food. Now is a chance to share all those unwanted toileties that are cluttering up the cupboard. Some items need to be new and this includes batteries, torches and socks.  Every is likely to have something in their house that they could share with someone less fortunate.

Jane will be giving a talk on what it is like to go out on a Thursday night to chat to those who are homeless in Tunbridge Wells. She will let us know how all the donated items will be used.

Lets make this a Harvest Service to remember not only by sharing, but by  bring a friend or neighbour so that they can share in the Thanksgiving service as well. We will hopefully be joined by some of the Guides and Brownies or members of other organisations who use the church premises.

Contact form working again

Apologies if you tried to use our Contact Us or Lettings enquiries forms recently.

Due to a change made by our hosting company (to prevent spam attacks), the Forms stopped working and we have had to redesign and reconfigure these pages.

This has now been corrected and we will respond to enquiries as promptly as possible.
